(Oregon Coast) - The final blast of summer simmers subtly this weekend, with so-so weather apparently causing a few cancellations across the board. Still, what everyone expects is to get inundated with walk-ins and last minute reservations, and all that BeachConnection.net talked to believed they would eventually get filled up over the course of the Labor Day Weekend.

Keep in mind, if you're a walk-in over the holiday weekend, you'll pay considerably more than if you reserved - at least at many lodgings.

As always, call ahead of time and do not head out to the coast and hope to find a place to stay, or you’ll likely be stuck spending the night in your car. Conditions will likely change quickly for availability
