Major Mushroom Fest Set for Yachats, Central Coast
(Yachats, Oregon) – For three days in the third weekend of October, it will be non-stop waxing on about the wonders of the wild mushroom. The small central Oregon coast town goes maniacal about the mushroom on October 19 to 21 with the Yachats Mushroom Fest, going on for over ten years now to ecstatic and ever-increasing crowds. Munch on the mushroom in a variety of dishes in restaurants all around the village, or take in talks, exhibits, art workshops and even guided tours that look at the little fungi.
