Just south of the entrance to Hug Point, another headland lurks, which the tide forbids access to some 70 percent of the time. However, when you're able to cross, you'll find a couple miles of unobstructed beach until you reach Arch Cape, as well as a couple more sea caves and this semi-circular structure of basalt.
