Seaside Turnaround, Lewis & Clark Memorial
Virtual Tour of Seaside, Oregon Coast
If the Promenade whispers of history, then the Turnaround shouts it. Its centerpiece is the statue of Lewis & Clark (who never actually stopped in this spot, although it gives you that impression.) They did, however, stop about a half mile south of here to boil water for 48 hours.
