More funky features fill your senses and the sights around here, with docks leading to intriguing features, like unique sculptures or that engaging Promenade.

Here, however, it's a look back at this central Oregon coast town and what once was – only 20 years ago.

That includes the famed sternwheeler ride, a vessel called the Westward Ho (no, that's not the slang word). It is long gone now. The intricate old pilings in these scenes are still there, however.

Another bit of Florence whimsy was this former shop (below) in the center of town, featuring some whimsical exterior decorations. It's no longer there, but don't be surprised to be surprised by the imaginations of downtown businesses.
