Now, Bloom Newport returns to Nye Beach for its fourth incarnation, hitting the streets and filling the air with sounds and aromas on Saturday, May 31. The annual event, which highlights Newport's inventiveness, culture, commerce, and cuisine, will take place from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Newport Performing Arts Center and surrounding areas. Admission is free, and activities are designed to welcome attendees of all ages.

The lively annual event features local talent and entertainment, community organizations, artisans, vendors, food, the ever-popular beverage garden, and more.

“We’re excited to invite the public to join us,” said event organizers. “We’re gearing up for our biggest and best celebration yet as we mark the changing seasons and embrace new beginnings together.”

They have expanded the event footprint significantly for 2025, extending from the Newport Performing Arts Center down Cliff Street to the Newport Visual Arts Center. This year's celebration will feature a variety of artisans, vendors, food offerings, and live entertainment. Performers include Tsunami Zone, The Spruce Tips, It Found Things, Ballet Folklorico Oregon Coast, Revel’n, Your Song My Song, and DJ Eveu. The popular Silent Disco will also return, giving participants a chance to dance in the newly renovated David Ogden Stiers Studio Theatre.

“This is a great opportunity not only to enjoy some fabulous food and festivities, but also to connect with friends and neighbors,” organizers said. “Everyone is invited.”

The event provides an opportunity for the community to gather, enjoy festivities, and support local businesses and artists. More information, including vendor applications and volunteer signups, is available at bloomnewport.org.
