Oregon Coast BnB Helps Habitat for Humanity
(Pacific City, Oregon) - Pacific City's Craftsman Bed and Breakfast announced that it is raising funds for Tillamook Habitat for Humanity with the help of Mother’s Day. Any gift certificate purchase made now through Mothers Day will see 20 percent of that amount donated to Tillamook Habitat for Humanity. The money raised will be directed toward the building of a house in South Tillamook County, on the central Oregon coast. Owners Mike and Laura Rech say they know about how construction costs go and feel they will need money more than anything. “The Craftsman B&B suggests you hug your mom, give her a gift certificate and help them build a strong community,” said Mike Rech. You can purchase online at their secure website page - www.craftsmanbb.com - or call the B&B at 503-965-4574. Millard and Linda Fuller founded habitat for Humanity International in 1976. This year, Tillamook Habitat has built many homes, helping to provide affordable housing in the Tillamook County community through faithful volunteers, business partners and individual donors. The philosophy of Habitat for Humanity is to provide a “Hand up, not a Hand-out.” Jimmy and Rosalyn Carter lead a Jimmy Carter Work Project each summer. Through the years of work projects they have build hundred of houses all over the world. The Craftsman B&B is at 35255 4th Street, Pacific City, Oregon.
