| Seaside always looks festive year-round |
(Oregon Coast) – The season is soon upon us all, which means towns on the Oregon coast will be getting all gussied for the holidays.
Meanwhile, a host of fun and funky events are waiting in the wings, creating various highlights for fall and winter. In fact, not all the happenings are in the holiday vein. But you’ll find them everywhere on the beaches, in towns like Seaside, Cannon Beach, Manzanita, Garibaldi, Lincoln City and Newport. For complete Oregon Coast events, click here
Through December 31. Visit the Lincoln County Historical Museum for free in 2009. Through a generous grant the North Lincoln County, the Historical Museum will offer free admission for the entire year of 2009. Lincoln City, Oregon.

Nov 28. Cardboard Songsters. (bluegrass; hillbilly blues). A duo-offshoot of the band, The Kitchen Syncopators. The group has evolved its own sound with a blend of rural and urban oldtime stringband, blues, ragtime, jazz, and jug band music. 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Tickets at the door: adults $7, kids $2. December 4 – 5. Oregon Coast Aquarium Presents ''Sea of Lights.'' Ring in the holidays as the Aquarium becomes a winter wonderland surrounded by thousands of twinkling lights. Festive caroling, a Christmas village and a visit with Saint Nick. Photos by the big Christmas tree in the lobby. Hot chocolate and holiday treats.
