Cannon Beach's Haystack Rock will be the subject of many a learning possibility.

(Seaside, Oregon) – Summer in Seaside and Cannon Beach means a lot of outdoor fun, in the realms of learning about the beach, a giant volleyball tournament, surfing events and an art walk, among other activities. There’s even a two-day event about Lewis and Clark that runs through the middle of the night.

Every Saturday and Sunday (weather permitting). Historical Walking Tours. Half hour tour focusing on North Coast Native Americans, Lewis and Clark, early settlement of Cannon Beach, and more. Various Mornings (low tides). Haystack Rock Awareness Program, Cannon Beach. Weather and tide permitting, staffers can be found on the beach throughout the year and on most low-tide mornings.
