Portland's The Celtic Light Orchestra is set to host a Saint Patrick's Day celebration that promises to be a memorable experience for the entire family on the central Oregon coast. The multi-media production will feature rousing Irish jigs and reels, LED lights, Irish dance, and stilt walkers. The event will showcase the talents of Celtic fiddle virtuoso Katie Jane Lubiens.

The rig plays the Lincoln City Cultural Center on March 8 and again on March 9, bringing a highly energetic and visually dazzling show to the central Oregon coast town. Shows happen at 7 p.m. on March 8 and 2 p.m. on March 9.

Tickets are available now and are expected to sell out quickly.

The Celtic Light Orchestra stands out as the world's only light-up orchestra. Each unique production features captivating Celtic fiddle music played using the group's patented Glow Bowz - a revolutionary LED light-up violin bow that reacts to the players' movements and synchronizes with the music. Combined with traditional Celtic instrumentation, Irish step dancing, Celtic folklore, dazzling lights, and theatrical storytelling, each production offers an unforgettable experience for all ages.

The Celtic Light Orchestra is an inclusive community orchestra founded by Portland-based music teacher and Celtic fiddle virtuoso Katie Jane Lubiens. The spirited fiddler established the orchestra to share her passion for Celtic music and culture with audiences of all ages. Many members are students of Katie Jane, while others are local school music teachers who share a commitment to making Celtic music and traditions accessible to everyone.
