This also heralds a host of new special glass float drops in the coming months.

It's a live, in-person event on that Saturday, going from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Taft Waterfront Park. The event is free.

“Festival attendees will have the opportunity to meet some of the talented glass artists behind the magic, shop unique pieces from local vendors, snag a commemorative glass coin, as well as enjoy live music provided by Zuhg Life Presents,” said the Lincoln City Visitors Bureau – known as Explore Lincoln City.

It's a landmark anniversary, ELC said, and the quarter-century-old glass float program was a landmark for Lincoln City when it started back in the winter of '99 and 2000.

How did Finders Keepers start? See Lincoln City Celebrates How It Started. At least a couple of artists came up with the idea in '97, and then in the '99-2000 season, then-president of the visitors bureau, Jennifer Sears, made it an official winter event.

By 2001 it met with rave reviews with some local businesses saying it was the best thing to hit Lincoln City, driving plenty of new folks to town in the dead of winter.

There are other ways you can celebrate the Finders Keepers glass floats, and some ways allow you to win cool new stuff.

Indeed, if you find a glass float and register it in 2025, you could win some specials commemorative coins. Really special Oregon coast items, actually.

“This year, anyone who finds and registers a 2025 Finders Keepers float will be eligible to receive a commemorative glass coin,” said ELC. “Upon registering a 2025 float, the coin will be mailed to the address provided during registration.”

Other in-person events happen through this year and more special coins will be distributed there.

So what are the upcoming 2025 special glass float drops in Lincoln City?
