Intoxicating is just a tiny bit of the impression you'll come away with after visiting this spot.

Major crevices pop up now and again, sometimes allowing sea water to shoot up through the rocky basalt. The bulk of this rocky area is littered with logs, tossed up by stormy seas that precariously chuck large objects onto the varied geography.

Under the right conditions, a small spouting horn erupts at the tip of one crevice. It sprays and hisses like many of the other such spouting horns along the Oregon coast.

Between Yachats and Florence, just south of Cook's Chasm.
