The big attraction at D River is, of course, the beach. And there's plenty of it, including the fun of finding the odd bit of see goo lying around. The area is not bad for finding agates under some winter conditions.

Strange things once found here: a family of newborn kittens - all feral of course - lived in the rip rap seen here for a little while back in the early 90's.
