Hidden Beach at Seaside's Southern End
Virtual Tour of Seaside, Oregon Coast
After the walls of the Prom end, and the walkway stands alone between the homes and the beach, there are sizable brushy areas between the walkway and the sands. These have little trails snaking throughout, with the occasional grove of trees forming little hidden spaces.
Trees here are bent and twisted by the wind, shredded on one side and nearer to the roots. Winds and oceanic conditions have no tolerance for the big beauties.
They do create some interesting shapes. From certain angles they almost give Seaside an Africa vibe.
