Oregon Coast Lodging Availability, Fourth of July Weekend
(Oregon Coast) - If you haven't already booked your rooms months ago, you're mostly out of luck. This weekend especially, being a weekend and the Fourth of July, means it will be extra packed at the hotels and lodgings. In fact, more and more each year book their rooms a year ahead of time - as they're checking out from their Fourth of July stay. Luckily, a few still have openings, and in prime spots too. Seaside is reporting a few unbooked rooms or cancellations, as is nearby Cannon Beach. There's a handful in Lincoln City, and a surprisingly decent amount in Depoe Bay, just south of Newport and in the Yachats area, meaning you still stand a chance to catch the big celebrations that last all weekend in Newport. In fact, several new lodgings and rentals in that area are reporting openings. The Depoe Bay area has a few that aren't locked up, especially on the 3rd, which is when that town and nearby Waldport celebrate with their fireworks shows.
There doesn't appear to be anything left in the Pacific City or Oceanside area, but Pacific City’s celebration is on the fifth, and Lincoln City is only a half hour’s drive from there. This page will be updated throughout the week. But as always, call ahead and check availability with these listed below as conditions may change.
