Oregon) – Fall approaches and it means a load of interesting events
on the central Oregon coast. Newport, especially, hits high gear with
a calendar chock full of entertainment and science. Then Halloween comes
along, with some frightening frivolity – including a special telling
of ghost stories. From jazz, dance, nature walks, unique films, theater
productions to famed authors, this part of the central coast is hopping
throughout the season.

Saturday, October 27: Creatures of the Night 2007.
A fun-filled night of frights and delights as pirates, sea monsters and
hobgoblins of all ages haunt the Aquarium. Costume contests, games and
fun for all. Ghost stories program, “Oregon Coast Ghosts and the
Paranormal,” from BeachConnection.net editor Andre’ Hagestedt.

"Sweet Charity." Broadway show created from a book
by Neil Simon, a story about the adventures of Charity, a girl who wants
