(Oregon Coast) – It is one of the busiest tourism weekends of the entire year, and certainly among the most packed during the often deserted winter season. Thanksgiving draws masses to the Oregon coast, often the target of large family get-togethers who take over vacation rentals and larger hotels.
It’s nuts. And it’s often hard if not impossible to find a place out there last minute. Tourists often make their reservations for this weekend months ahead of time, and according to some innkeepers they’re staying longer and longer.
For
those who didn’t make prior reservations, BeachConnection.net has
acquired a healthy list of those who still have openings. Make sure you
call first to check availability and book your room – don’t
count on just driving out to the coast. You may not find a place to lay
your sleepy head after all that food.
