(Newport, Oregon) – Winter doesn’t chill the
curiosity, and the Oregon Coast Aquarium is providing the food for hungry
young minds during the holiday break, just as the Winter Whale Watch Week

programs are offered by the Oregon Coast Aquarium, along with fun sleepovers
for the kiddies.
All the programs are designed to provide students with
a fun, educational experience for different age groups, said Alicia Christensen,

They come with the added bonus of getting a big, fat kiss
from a sea lion.
“We’d like to convey to parents what
a positive experience these programs are for children and parents,”
Christensen said. “We have families that return again each season.
All of the encounters include a photo and a behind the scenes look at
the animals, and of course the sea lion encounters always include a sea
lion kiss.”
