The much-lauded Martin
Hospitality management company is somewhat legendary on the north Oregon
coast. Readers of Condé Nast Traveler’s magazine recently

A spokesperson for Martin Hospitality adds that employees “exemplify
the season of giving” by donating their time to Operation Santa
Claus, a charity that raises funds to purchase Christmas gifts for about
200 less fortunate children in Clatsop County. This charity was started
some 10 years ago by Jan Martin and Sharon Major, current general manager
of the Stephanie Inn. They take advantage of funds raised at various Martin
Hospitality events held throughout the year, including hot dog roasts
