(Pacific City, Oregon) – It’s "Breakfast with Santa" at the Pelican Pub & Brewery in Pacific City on September 15, just as the brewpub launches its new seasonal ale, "Bad Santa."
On the good Santa side, the brewpub features the holiday event for the whole family on December 15, promising to be something more than a little different on the Oregon coast.

Enjoy breakfast at the oceanfront Pelican Pub & Brewery in Pacific City , Ore. where guests will be joined by ol' Saint Nick himself. All children will have the opportunity to take a photo with Santa Claus. Reservations are recommended.

Cost for children’s breakfast options is $7.95 for children under 12 and includes photo with Santa.
The menu includes chocolate chip snowman pancakes, French toast sticks, and the big kids breakfast (1 egg, 1 pancake, hash browns and bacon or sausage).
For adults, cost is $13.95. Menu includes: Build Your Own Omelette (meat and vegetarian choices available), blueberry pancakes, chicken fried steak and skillet hash browns. Juice, coffee and tea are included.

For
grownups, the new beer is for those both naughty and nice. Bad Santa,
a new Black IPA, has arrived at the Pelican Pub & Brewery. This mysterious
dark elixir is the creation of Jason Schoneman, assistant head brewer
at the Pelican Pub. Schoneman wanted to design a beer with complex flavors
including a toasted malt and roast character, a goal which he and the
brewing team successfully mastered. The roasted malt flavors blend seamlessly
with the citrus and herbal hop aroma which comes from the large amount
of Ahtanum hops used.
“Bad Santa’s aromatic combinations and rich flavor are perfect for the holidays,” said Schoneman. “Whether you have been naughty or nice, Bad Santa is something you have to try.”
While
this seasonal ale has a cocoa aroma reminiscent of the Pelican Pub’s
Doryman’s Dark, it bridges style boundaries as a Black IPA. Available
starting this month, Bad Santa is bound to put you on the naughty list
if you pass it up.
The Pelican Pub and Brewery, located 22 miles south of Tillamook on the majestic Oregon coast, has become a Northwest landmark for craft beer and fine food enthusiasts.
