Saturday, August 4: 1 to 4 p.m., Cuneo Cellars.
Meet Alex Pompell, of Cuneo Cellars in Carlton, Oregon. Enjoys sips and
samples of Cuneo’s red wines, created from grapes grown in vineyards
throughout the Northwest. Cuneo crafts traditional Burgundy, Bordeaux,
and Rhone-style red wines.

Saturday, August 11: 1 to 4 p.m., Amalie Robert
Estate. Located 15 miles southwest of Salem, this small but rising
star winery was recently featured at the Portland Independent Wine Festival
(from a pool of 800 entries, four Amalie Robert wines were chosen to be
among the 40 featured wines). The Wine Place hosts co-owner Dena Drews
as she shares complimentary tastes of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and a
stainless-steel fermented Chardonnay.

Saturday, August 18: 1 to 4 p.m., Piluso Vineyards.
Meet and mingle with winemaker Sandee Piluso and her husband Ernie "Pinky"
Piluso of Piluso Wines, a vineyard nestled on a 65-acre farm near Salem.
Piluso Vineyards was recently featured in the Portland Indie Wine Festival.
The winemaking duo will share samples of Pinot Noir and “Bianco
Dolce,” a Chardonnay dessert wine.
Saturday, August 25: 1 to 4 p.m., Amity Vineyards.
Amity is back by demand at The Wine Shop, after a rousing response in
the past. Meet Matt Gibson of Amity Vineyards in his return visit to The
Wine Place. Recognized as one of Oregon’s top producers, the vineyard
was founded 30 years ago. The winery is located in the North Willamette
Valley, a region hailed as one of the premier Pinot Noir producing areas
in the world.
Saturday, September 1, 1 to 4 p.m., Lorelli Vineyards.
A popular guest, Rich Lorelli is owner/winemaker of Lorelli Wines in southern
Oregon and returns to The Wine Place to sample and share. Growing grapes
in the Applegate Valley for over 20 years, Lorelli is an expert alchemist
who consistently creates award-winning wines.
Sunday, September 2, 1 to 4 p.m., Yamhill Valley
Vineyards. Mix, mingle and sample wines with Sandi Kolb of Yamhill
Valley Vineyards, a 150-acre estate near McMinnville. Founded in 1983,
Yamhill is “stubbornly dedicated” to the production of distinctively
Oregon cool-climate varietals.
