(Seaside, Oregon) – A new hotel opens its doors soon in the north Oregon coast tourist hotspot of Seaside, providing not only another upscale lodging for the town but a vacation home ownership opportunity.
It’s called Rivertide Suites and it opens August 22, offering a new luxury option for visitors and those looking to make a real estate investment.
Guests
may choose from 70 spacious condominium-style suites, including 30 two-bedroom
suites, 18 one-bedroom suites and 22 studio suites. Located along the
Necanicum River, Rivertide Suites is just three short blocks from the
beach and adjacent to the Seaside Civic and Convention Center –
in the heart of downtown Seaside.
It’s
a hotel of nothing but suites, and it will be ideal for both families
and business travelers. Large families will appreciate the 850 square
feet of living space in the two-bedroom, two-bathroom suites. For business
travelers, the larger suites will provide the perfect setting for hosting
a hospitality room during conferences or conventions. The hotel will offer
two meeting rooms that hold up to 70 people. A variety of catering services
will be available to accommodate most groups.

Rivertide Suites will offer an indoor pool/spa, exercise facility, game room, and business center as well as a hearth room for quiet reading. Complimentary breakfast will be served daily in the Great Room.
The rooftop features the area's only Crow's Nest for spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and the Coastal Mountain Range. The suites offer a variety of river, mountain and ocean views with private balconies.
Each
suite has a full kitchen with granite countertops, an eating bar and separate
dining area. The kitchens come fully stocked with cookware, silverware
and dishes. The units also have fireplaces, jetted tubs, pillow top mattresses,
cable TV and DVD players. Wi-Fi and high speed internet access is available
in all suites and throughout the hotel. All rooms will provide bathrobes
and slippers for guest use.
Rivertide Suites is a condominium hotel development. Each individual suite is available for purchase as a vacation home, but not as a permanent residence. All the suites are fully furnished, maintained and managed on-site. Nearly 60 percent of the units are under contract or sold.

“Rivertide
Suites will appeal to people who want a place to escape to on occasion,
but want to avoid all the hassles of maintaining a resort vacation home
or condo," said Terry Bichsel, managing partner of Rivertide Suites.
The facility have some pet friendly rooms, romance packages, complimentary breakfast, riverfront and mountain views, a fitness center, indoor pool and hot tubs as well as high speed internet and Wi-Fi access.
Sales
& Marketing Manager Sue Meyers said the hotel will have availability
for the much-coveted Hood To Coast on the weekend of August 24, where
runners make the jaunt from Mt. Hood to Seaside. This weekend is always
packed to the gills and booked far in advance in Seaside, with many hotels
in town jacking prices up quite high for the much-needed rooms.
